This Isolated Danger Mark indicates the final resting place of the British Dredger ‘Roway’ (110 tons, 90’ long) sunk in 1967 by a freak wave.
Several club members have hit it with rudders or dagger boards at low water so give it a wide berth unless you are sure of the tide state (and if you are an OOD do not use it as a race mark unless there is plenty of water over it).
